Instruction - How to do your online PBL work?

Step 1:

-In class, facilitator will give instruction about teaching and learning method (P&P) using “PBLonline” for Neuron System Topic.

- Facilitator will explain the methods, steps and also the location that students need to use in P&P process while solving the scenario of the PBL by online.

Step 2:

- Firstly, it should be 5 students in one group. Every group should start to sign up on ONE Google Acount in order to build a new blog for their group.

-The blog is useful for their discussion within their group by online.

Step 3:

- All the students need to answer pre-test question given by online. And the answer should be SUBMITTED to the facilitator blog with the time given.

- The PRE-TEST should be taken 20 minutes by online.

- The test is taken individually, and REMEMBER on 23 th July 2010, the test will begin on 8.00 a.m until 8.30 a.m. After the time is finished, the online test will be CLOSE. So you should be prepared to the TBF class with your LAPTOP.

- And remember, while answering the pre-test question by online, DO NOT open other web page beside the blog web page. Opening other web page will make the submittion process become slow and cannot be finished by the time given.

Step 4:

-For the PBL problem scenario, you also need to discuss the problems and the solution for the problems given.

-Each group need to: choose a leader, other roles, for example scriber etc. for other member that you think you need and also setup ground rules that you think is necessary during the e-PBL session.

-Each group can have a private chat with the facilitator about the guide line to solve the PBL scenario problem.

- All groups are encouraged to discuss their FACTS, IDEAS, LEARNING ISSUES and ACTIONS you will take within the forum box in the blog.

- Discussion in the forum box is important within each member in each group blog for the evaluation. Marks are given based on the active discussion within group members.

- Discussion should be focusing on PBL problem scenario given.
